Halfway between Geneva and Lausanne on the shores of Lake Léman (Lake Geneva) and facing the Mont-Blanc, Nyon is set in a region which offers many possibilities for outdoor activities and relaxation.

Nyon proposes a wide choice of cultural activities, highlighted by several annual events, such as the Paléo Festival, Caribana Festival, Visions du Réel or the International Documentary Film Festival and the Far Festival.

As an ancient Roman settlement, Nyon preserves many vestiges of the past and offers two museums to those interested in history, science and nature. A wide range of hotels and restaurants are ideally equipped to accommodate and organise a stay for holidaymakers, groups, seminars and congresses.
