Mörel

Situated in the upper Rhone Valley, 10 km north-east of Brig, the small village of Mörel is the departure point for the cable cars to Riederalp and the Hohfluh and Moosfluh viewpoints on the Aletsch Glacier.

Mörel is one of the three departure points for the various cable cars that take you up to the lookouts with breathtaking views of the spectacular Aletsch Glacier. The other two are Betten (Talstation), below Bettmeralp, and Fiesch, both higher up in the valley.

The cable car to Moosfluh leaves from Riederalp Mitte and makes an intermediate stop at the Blue Lake (Blausee), take the time to stop there, you won't regret it!
