Chaux-de-Fonds (La)AbstractSituated in the Jura Mountains above Neuchâtel, it's a quite unique city: destroyed by fire in 1794, it was rebuilt following a grid street plan. It's the hometown of architect Le Corbusier, writer Blaise Cendrars and car maker Louis Chevrolet, and a renowned centre of Art nouveau.
