How to go to Glion:

take the cogwheel train from Montreux (MOB Station)
take the cogweel shuttle from Territet (very impressive!)

Things to do in Glion:

enjoy the panoramic view
walk back to Montreux along the Gorges du Chauderon (from Glion, take the road to Les Avants and watch out for a pedestrian trail on the left, across the cemetary)
go to Caux and Rochers-de-Naye
