Trail to the glacier

Abstract

Our virtual summer stroll ends here, just over 600m from the Fafleralp car park. The Langgletscher can be seen in the distance, tumbling down from the icy Lötschenlücke pass. Beyond it lies the great glacier complex that includes the Aletsch. The Anenhütte hut, at the foot of the Langgletscher glacier, is still over 4km away.
