Faflerkapelle

Tucked away in the heart of the larch forest, this strange chapel was built in 1959. It is dedicated to Saint Bernard, protector of the inhabitants of the Alps, mountaineers and skiers. It was closed when we visited, so we were unable to see the unusual narrow wrought-iron cross behind the altar, which is said to give many visitors food for thought.
