Dorfstrasse

Abstract

The main road through the Lötschental bypasses the village, so you'll only get a glimpse of it as you drive past. As a fire destroyed all the houses in Wiler in 1900, you won't see any very old buildings, but the village has been rebuilt in keeping with the local architecture, and the tradition of folk theatre and ancestral customs is still very much alive.
