Panagia Pantanassa ViewpointAbstractOffering magnificent views from its forecourt, the church was built by a Cretan immigrant at the end of the 17th century, probably as thanksgiving for being welcomed on Folegandros. Having passed from one master to another over the ages, the island was at times almost deserted, and it seems to have been repopulated by Cretans in the 16th century.
