Castle of Bramois

Abstract

This beautiful residence, nicknamed ‘the castle’, was built in the 16th century. It is located at the entrance to the village, just after the bridge over the Borgne River and its chapel. It is a private building, so it cannot be visited, and apparently there are no real sources available to trace its history. We can only admire it from afar and imagine what its walls have witnessed over the centuries.
